After only one semester at Reed College, Steve Jobs decided it wasn't for him. Jobs then convinced long time friend Steve Wozniak to start a company with him. On April 1st 1976, Apple Computer was born.
In September 1985 Steve Jobs left Apple. His new company Pixar went on to have hits with A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, and Finding Nemo.
By December 1996 Steve Jobs was back at Apple, and in May 1998 introduced the iMac.
2001 he created Apple retail stores. In March of that year the iPod was born.
January 9, 2007, the iPhone was introduced ushering in a new era of touch-screen technology. The iPad was introduced in January 2010. In June 2011 iCloud was introduced.
Steve Jobs died in October 2011. The Apple brand has revolutionised the way we work, play, and communicate, setting the bar high for aesthetics, simplicity, and ease of use.
